Paragraph
(3)of section 8440e(e) of title 5, United States Code, as added by section 632(a)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. __), is amended— in subparagraph (A)— by striking clause (ii); by striking pay period during and all that follows through begins— and inserting pay period that begins— ; by redesignating subclauses
(I)and
(II)as clauses
(i)and (ii), respectively, and moving the margins of such clauses, as so redesignated, 2 ems to the left; and in clause (ii), as redesignated by subparagraph (C), by striking ; and and inserting a period; and in subparagraph (B)— by striking clause (ii); by striking pay period during and all that follows through begins— and inserting pay period that begins— ; by redesignating subclauses
(I)and
(II)(as amended by section 622 of this subtitle) as clauses
