Section 520G of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 290bb–38 ) is amended— by striking substance abuse each place such term appears and inserting substance use disorder ; in subsection (a)— by striking Indian tribes, and tribal organizations and inserting and Indian tribes and tribal organizations (as such terms are defined in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act ( ; and 25 U.S.C. 450b )) by inserting or a health facility or program operated by or pursuant to a contract or grant with the Indian Health Service, after entities, ; in subsection (c)(2)(A)(i), by striking the best known and inserting evidence-based ; and in subsection (i), by striking $10,000,000 for fiscal year 2001, and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal years 2002 through 2003 and inserting such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2017 through 2021 .
