Section 2701 of title I of Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 ( 42 U.S.C. 3797a(b) ) is amended by— redesignating paragraphs
(4)and
(5)as paragraphs
(5)and (6), respectively; and inserting after paragraph
(3)the following: the development and operation of crisis intervention teams that may include coordination with law enforcement agencies and specialized training for school officials in responding to mental health crises. .
