Chapter 11 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 421 the following new section: The Commandant may recall a retired member of the Coast Guard who is subject to section 802 of title 10 and order that member to active duty, without the member's consent, for the purpose of any of the following: A preliminary hearing under section 832 of title 10. Trial by court-martial under chapter 47 of title 10. Nonjudicial punishment under section 815 of title 10. . The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 11 of such title is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 421 the following new item: 421a. Involuntary recall to active duty. .
