Section 203(e) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1153(e) ) is amended— in paragraph (3), by striking the period at the end and inserting , in accordance with the requirement under paragraph (4). ; and by adding at the end the following: In the case of an applicant for a visa under this section who is present in the United States pursuant to a grant of parole under section 212(d)(5) for a period of time after making such application, the time period during which the applicant is present in the United States pursuant to such a grant of parole shall be added to the applicant’s priority date. .
