Section 2(b)(1)(E) of the Export-Import Bank Act of 1945 ( 12 U.S.C. 635(b)(1)(E) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than the end of the 2-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this clause, the Bank shall implement policies to accept electronic documents whenever possible, including copies of bills of lading, certifications, and compliance documents. Not later than the end of the 2-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this clause, the Bank shall implement policies to accept electronic payments in all of its programs. .
