Effective October 1, 2017, notwithstanding section 1017 of Public Law 111–203 — the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System shall not transfer amounts specified under such section to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection; and there are authorized to be appropriated to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection such sums as may be necessary to carry out the authorities of the Bureau under Federal consumer financial law.
