Section 1839(i) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395r(i) ) is amended— in paragraph (3)(A)(i), by striking paragraph
(6)and inserting paragraphs
(6)and
(7); by redesignating paragraph
(7)as paragraph (8); and by inserting after paragraph
(6)the following new paragraph: Notwithstanding any other provision of this subsection, for months beginning with January 2016, in applying the applicable percentages specified in the applicable table in paragraph (3)(C)(i)— during 2016, the references in the table in subparagraph
(I)of such paragraph to 35 percent , 50 percent , 65 percent , and 80 percent shall be deemed to be references to 37.625 percent , 53.75 percent , 69.875 percent , and 85 percent , respectively; and during 2017 or a subsequent year, the references in the table in subparagraph
(I)of such paragraph and the table in subparagraph
(II)of such paragraph, as applicable, to 35 percent , 50 percent , 65 percent , and 80 percent shall be deemed to be references to 40.25 percent , 57.5 percent , 74.75 percent , and 90 percent , respectively. . Section 1860D–13(a)(7)(B)(i)(I) of such Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395w–113(a)(7)(B)(i)(I) ) is amended by striking paragraph
