Section 105(a) of the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness Act ( 42 U.S.C. 10805(a) ), as amended by sections 811, 812, and 813, is further amended by adding at the end the following: ensure that individuals with serious mental illness have access to and can obtain evidence-based treatment for their serious mental illness. .
