Sec. 35103. Authorization of appropriations for National Transportation Safety Board rail investigations

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, there are authorized to be appropriated to the National Transportation Safety Board to carry out railroad accident investigations under section 1131(a)(1)(C) of title 49, United States Code, the following amounts: For fiscal year 2016, $6,300,000. For fiscal year 2017, $6,400,000. For fiscal year 2018, $6,500,000. For fiscal year 2019, $6,600,000. Amounts appropriated under subsection
(a)of this section shall be available to the National Transportation Safety Board for personnel, in regional offices and in Washington, DC, whose duties involve railroad accident investigations.
