Except as otherwise specifically provided in this Act— the amendments made by this Act to a provision of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act ( Public Law 111–203 ) shall take effect as if enacted on the effective date of the provision, immediately after the provision takes effect; and the amendments made by this Act to a provision of law amended by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act shall take effect as if enacted on the effective date of the amendment to that provision of law made by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, immediately after the amendment made by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act takes effect.
