Section 246(a)(2) of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5656(a)(2)) is amended— by striking subparagraph (A); by redesignating subparagraphs
(B)through
(E)as subparagraphs
(A)through (D), respectively; and in subparagraph (B)(ii), as redesignated, by striking subparagraph
(B)and inserting subparagraph
(A). Section 223(a)(7)(A) of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. 5633(a)(7)(A)) is amended by striking (including any geographical area in which an Indian tribe performs law enforcement functions) and inserting (including any geographical area of which an Indian tribe has jurisdiction) .
