The adjustment to become effective during fiscal year 2015 required by section 1009 of title 37, United States Code, in the rates of monthly basic pay authorized members of the uniformed services shall not be made. Effective on January 1, 2015, the rates of monthly basic pay for members of the uniformed services are increased by 1 percent for enlisted member pay grades, warrant officer pay grades, and commissioned officer pay grades below pay grade O–7. Section 203(a)(2) of title 37, United States Code, shall be applied for rates of basic pay payable for commissioned officers in pay grades O–7 through O–10 during calendar year 2015 by using the rate of pay for level II of the Executive Schedule in effect during 2014.
