Chapter 81 is amended— in section 8101(1)(D), by inserting for an injury that occurred before the effective date of section 204(e) of the District of Columbia Self-Government and Governmental Reorganization Act ( before the semicolon; Public Law 93–198 ; 87 Stat. 783; 5 U.S.C. 8101 note) in section 8139, by inserting under this subchapter after Compensation awarded ; and in section 8148(a), by striking section 8106 and inserting section 8106a .
