Section 3555(c) of title 31, United States Code, is amended— by inserting
(1)after
(c); and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The Comptroller General may charge and collect fees for filing protests under this subchapter for the purpose of covering the costs of developing, maintaining, and operating an electronic system for filing such protests. The Comptroller General may retain and use such fees immediately and without fiscal year limitation for such purpose. .
