Sec. 212. Termination of application of top-heavy plan rules

Section 416 is amended by adding at the end the following: This section shall not apply to any plan year beginning after December 31, 2013. If a plan was a top-heavy plan for any plan year beginning before January 1, 2014, then, notwithstanding paragraph (1), the vesting rules applicable to the plan under subsection
(b)for the plan year shall continue to apply to any accrued benefit derived during the plan year. . The amendments made by this section shall apply to plan years beginning after December 31, 2013.
