Section 16201(d) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking subparagraph
(B)and inserting the following new subparagraph (B): is eligible for appointment as a Reserve officer for service in a reserve component in a Nurse Corps or as a nurse; and ; and in paragraph (2), by striking subparagraph
(B)and inserting the following new subparagraph (B): the participant shall not be eligible to receive such stipend before being appointed as a Reserve officer for service in the Ready Reserve in a Nurse Corps or as a nurse; and .
