Sec. 212. Modification of requirements on biennial strategic plan for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency

Subsection
(b)of section 2352 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following new paragraph (1): The strategic objectives of that agency, and the linkage between such objectives and the missions of the armed forces. ; in paragraph (2)(A), by striking goals and inserting objectives ; by striking paragraph (3); by redesignating paragraphs
(4)and
(5)as paragraphs
(3)and (4), respectively; and in paragraph (3), as redesignated by paragraph
(4)of this subsection, by striking for the programs of that agency and inserting for programs demonstrating military systems to one or more of the armed forces . Subsection
(c)of such section is amended by striking Secretary of Defense shall and inserting Director shall, in coordination with the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics, . The amendments made by this section shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act, and shall apply with respect to biennial strategic plans for the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency that are submitted under section 2352 of title 10, United States Code (as amended by this section), after that date.
