Section 2101 ( 20 U.S.C. 6601 ) is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking and after the semicolon; by redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); and by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following: enhance the knowledge of elementary school principals and other school administrators in early childhood development and learning and to build ongoing relationships with early childhood education programs to create a continuum of developmentally appropriate and effective learning; and .
