Not later than 30 days after the enactment of this Act, the Attorney General, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security, shall submit to Congress a report indicating the number, if any, of additional immigration judges that are needed to process the backlog of removal cases. Following the initial report, the Attorney General, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security, shall thereafter submit a report annually to the Committee on the Judiciary in the Senate and the Committee on the Judiciary in the House, indicating the number of immigration judges needed for the following fiscal year.
