Sec. 1001. GAO study on mental health and substance use disorder parity enforcement efforts

Not later than one year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States, in consultation with the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of Labor, shall submit to Congress a report detailing the enforcement efforts of the responsible departments and agencies in implementing the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (subtitle B of title V of division C of Public Law 110–343 ), including— the number of investigations that have been conducted into potential parity violations; and details on the investigation or enforcement action that was carried out as a result of such investigations that would not identify the subject of such investigation or enforcement.
