Available balances of expired United States Capitol Police appropriations shall be available to the Capitol Police to make the deposit to the credit of the Employees' Compensation Fund required by section 8147(b) of title 5, United States Code. Section 1018 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2003 ( 2 U.S.C. 1907 ) is amended by striking subsection (f). This section shall apply with respect to appropriations for fiscal year 2014 and each fiscal year thereafter.
