Section 502(b) ( 50 U.S.C. 1862(b) ), as amended by section 601 of this Act, is further amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(1)through
(7)as paragraphs
(2)through (8), respectively; and by inserting before paragraph
(2)(as so redesignated) the following new paragraph: any compliance reviews conducted by the Federal Government of the production of tangible things under section 501; . Section 601(a) ( 50 U.S.C. 1871(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (4), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in paragraph (5), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: any compliance reviews conducted by the Federal Government of electronic surveillance, physical searches, the installation of pen register or trap and trace devices, access to records, or acquisitions conducted under this Act. .
