The second sentence of section 432(b)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking the intelligence committees and all that follows and inserting the congressional defense committees and the congressional intelligence committees (as defined in section 437(c) of this title). . Section 436(4) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— by striking Defense Intelligence Agency and inserting Department of Defense ; and by striking management and supervision and inserting oversight .
Section 437 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a), by striking the intelligence committees and inserting congressional defense committees and the congressional intelligence committees ; in subsection (b)— by striking Consistent with and all that follows through the Secretary and insert The Secretary ; and by striking the intelligence committees and inserting congressional defense committees and the congressional intelligence committees ; and by adding at the end the following new subsection:
In this section, the term congressional intelligence committees has the meaning given the term in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3003 ). .
