The Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security shall submit to Congress a report on the state of coordination between U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Coast Guard regarding land and maritime border enforcement efforts and make recommendations to enhance such coordination, rectify any jurisdictional issues that are identified, and improve such border security enforcement efforts.
