Section 27(a) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2036(a) ) is amended— in paragraph
(1)by striking 2008 through 2012 and inserting 2013 through 2016 ; in paragraph
(2)by striking subparagraphs (A), (B), and (C), and inserting the following: for fiscal year 2013, $265,750,000; for fiscal year 2014, the dollar amount of commodities specified in subparagraph
(A)adjusted by the percentage by which the thrifty food plan has been adjusted under section 3(u)(4) between June 30, 2012 and June 30, 2013, and increased by $70,000,000; for fiscal year 2015, the dollar amount of commodities determined for fiscal year 2014 under subparagraph
(B)adjusted by the percentage by which the thrifty food plan has been adjusted under section 3(u)(4) between June 30, 2013 and June 30, 2014; for fiscal year 2016, the dollar amount of commodities determined for fiscal year 2015 under subparagraph
(C)adjusted by the percentage by which the thrifty food plan has been adjusted under section 3(u)(4) between June 30, 2014 and June 30, 2015, and reduced by $50,000,000; and for each subsequent fiscal year, the dollar amount of commodities determined for the preceding fiscal year adjusted to reflect the percentage by which the thrifty food plan has been adjusted under section 3(u)(4) for the 12-month period ending on the preceding June 30. ; and by adding at the end the following: For purposes of the funds described in this subsection, the Secretary shall— make the funds available for 2 fiscal years; and allow States to carry over unexpended balances to the next fiscal year pursuant to such terms and conditions as are determined by the Secretary. . Section 209(d) of the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 ( 7 U.S.C. 7511a(d) ) is amended by striking 2012 and inserting 2016 .
