None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to pay more than 75 percent of the salary of any senior Department of Agriculture official during the period beginning on July 1, 2014, and ending on September 30, 2014, unless as of July 1, 2014, the percentage of improper payments for the school lunch program under the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1751 et seq. ) and the school breakfast program under section 4 of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 ( 42 U.S.C. 1773 ) has been reduced by at least 25 percent.
For purposes of this section, the term senior Department of Agriculture official means the Secretary of Agriculture, the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, and any Under Secretary, Assistant Secretary or Administrator of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service.
