Section 104 of the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 ( Public Law 109–432 ; 43 U.S.C. 1331 note) is amended by striking June 30, 2022 and inserting January 1, 2012 . Within 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall include the area removed from moratorium by subsection
(a)in the areas available for leasing under the 2012–2017 outer Continental Shelf oil and gas leasing program prepared under section 18 of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (43 U.S.C. 1344).
