Section 5541(2)(C)(xiv) of title 5, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: a Foreign Service officer, except that a Foreign Service officer serving as a criminal investigator in the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Agency for International Development shall be eligible for and receive availability pay on the same terms as a criminal investigator under section 5545a. .
