If the claim of the plaintiff in any suit or proceeding under this article be established, judgment or decree shall be rendered for him and the court shall order the sale of all real or personal property levied upon, under and by virtue of any such attachment, which shall not have been previously sold, including any property embraced in any forthcoming bond, but not including any property restored to the defendant upon his giving bond to perform the judgment or decree of the court, and direct the proceeds of the sale of such property, and any funds derived from property previously sold, to be applied in satisfaction of such judgment or decree.
But no real estate shall be sold under such order until all other property and money, so levied on as aforesaid, has been exhausted, and then only so much thereof as is necessary to pay the judgment or decree.
