41.23 Sale of excess or surplus property. The department may acquire excess or surplus property from the department of administration under ss. 16.72
(b)and 16.98
(1)or from the department of transportation under s. 84.09
(5s)and, subject to any prior action under s. 13.48
(am)or 16.848
(1), the department may sell the property acquired under this section to any person at a price determined by the department of tourism. All proceeds received by the department of tourism from the sale of property under this section shall be credited to the appropriation account under s. 20.380
(h).
