In addition to any other information required to be released under this chapter, the department of social and health services and the authority are authorized, pursuant to RCW 4.24.550 , to release relevant information that is necessary to protect the public, concerning a specific person committed under RCW * 71.05.280

(3)or ** 71.05.320 (3)(c) following dismissal of a sex offense as defined in RCW 9.94A.030 .
