§ 4179. Effective date; limitations
(a)This chapter shall apply to motor vehicles beginning with the model year following July 1, 1984. Any proceedings initiated under this chapter shall be commenced within one year following the expiration of the express warranty term.
(b)Nothing in this chapter shall in any way limit the rights or remedies that are otherwise available to a consumer under any other law. (Added 1983, No. 211 (Adj. Sess.), § 1; amended 1999, No. 18, § 33, eff. May 13, 1999.)
