§ 4134. Violation; penalties
(a)Any person who violates any provision of this chapter or any rule or order issued pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than $10,000.00 for each violation.
(b)The penalty provided for in subsection
(a)of this section shall be recovered in an action or special proceeding brought by the Attorney General.
(c)Alternatively, or in addition to the action or proceeding to impose the fine provided by subsection
(a)of this section, the Attorney General may institute an action or proceeding to enjoin any violation of or to enforce any provision of this chapter or any rule, regulation, or order issued under this chapter. (Added 1981, No. 162 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. April 15, 1982.)
