§ 2282. Department of Taxes
The Department of Taxes is created in the Agency of Administration to exercise all powers and perform all duties assigned to it by law, including the collection and administration of all taxes levied under the law and payable to the State that are not otherwise required by law to be collected by another department. (Added 1971, No. 92, § 8, eff. June 1, 1971; amended 1983, No. 160 (Adj. Sess.), § 6; 1987, No. 243 (Adj. Sess.), § 17, eff. June 13, 1988.)
