§ 3507. Enforcement; penalties and revocation of registration
(a)A person who violates a provision of this chapter shall be assessed a civil penalty of not more than $300.00 for each offense unless otherwise provided by law.
(b)In addition to the fines provided in subsection
(a)of this section, the Commissioner may suspend or revoke the registration of an all-terrain vehicle involved in a violation of this chapter.
(c)Law enforcement officers may conduct safety inspections on all-terrain vehicles stopped for other all-terrain vehicle law violations on the VASA Trail System. Safety inspections may also be conducted in a designated area by law enforcement officials. A designated area shall be warned solely by blue lights either on a stationary all-terrain vehicle parked on a trail or on a cruiser parked at a roadside trail crossing. (Added 1983, No. 240 (Adj.
