§ 7628. Protocol
The Department of Mental Health shall develop and adopt by rule a strict protocol to ensure the health, safety, dignity, and respect of patients subject to administration of involuntary psychiatric medications in any designated hospital or secure residential recovery facility. This protocol shall be followed by all designated hospitals and secure residential recovery facilities administering involuntary psychiatric medications. (Added 1997, No. 114 (Adj. Sess.), § 4; amended 2023, No. 137 (Adj. Sess.), § 15, eff. July 1, 2024.)
