§ 2804. Sale; notice; disposition of proceeds
After receiving such return, the officer may sell at public auction the debtor’s right, title, or interest to collect and receive such rents, issues, and profits, in whole or part satisfaction of such execution. Notice of the sale shall be given in the same time and manner and the sale made as sales of real estate on execution, except that the officer shall sell the right to collect and receive such rents, issues, and profits for the least time sufficient to satisfy such execution with costs.
If the right to collect and receive the rents, issues, and profits for the full time they are payable does not sell for enough to satisfy the execution with costs, the officer shall return the same satisfied in part only.
