§ 902. Assessment of tax
Said Village may, at its annual meeting or at any special meeting warned for that purpose, assess a tax on the list of real and personal estate taxable therein, for any of the purposes mentioned in this charter, and shall have all the powers, and may collect such tax in such manner as is provided by law for the collection of town taxes in towns, and the trustees of said Village are to have the power and perform the duties herein required of the selectboards in towns.
