The provisions of this article shall not limit the powers or duties of the Department of Energy as they relate to mine reclamation under Chapters 10 (§ 45.2-1000 et seq.) and 12 (§ 45.2-1200 et seq.) of Title 45.2 or oil or gas exploration under the Virginia Gas and Oil Act (§ 45.2-1600 et seq.).
