Any Virginia corporation engaged in the furnishing of telephone service in the Commonwealth may come under the provisions of this chapter by filing with the Commission a certificate of adoption in the manner provided by paragraph
(b)of § 13.1-334 , and relinquishing all rights and powers granted by the former charter.
