A. As used in this section, unless the context requires a different meaning, "biodiesel fuel" means a renewable, biodegradable, mono-alkyl ester combustible liquid fluid fuel from agricultural plant oils or animal fats that meets the applicable American Society for Testing and Materials
(ASTM)Specification for Biodiesel Fuel
(B100)Blend Stock for Distillate Fuels.
B. The Board shall encourage the use of biodiesel fuel and other alternative fuels, to the extent practicable, in buses and other vehicles used to provide public transportation in the Commonwealth.
