73-34-302. Leasing requirements.
(1)The board may lease agricultural water:
(a)only to benefit the Great Salt Lake; and
(b)if for a full irrigation season, no more than two years out of a five-year period on the same agricultural field.
(2)Once a lease is approved by the board under the program, the agricultural user awarded the lease shall obtain approval of a water right application in accordance with this title.
