58-31b-306.1. Registered nurse apprentice license.
(1)The division shall issue a registered nurse apprentice license to an individual who meets the qualifications under Subsection 58-31b-302(6) .
(2)Unless the division extends the license for a specified period of time by written notification provided to the individual, the license expires on the earlier of:
(a)one year from the day on which the license is issued;
(b)75 days after the day on which the division receives notice from the examination agency that the individual failed to take or pass the examinations described in Subsection 58-31b-302(5)(a)(vi) ; or
(c)the day on which the division issues the individual a license as a registered nurse.
(3)A license described in Subsection
(1)is:
(a)valid only in Utah; and
(b)not an eligible license under Chapter 31e, Nurse Licensure Compact - Revised.
(4)The division may make rules to administer the license described in Subsection
(1)in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.
