11-73-101. Definitions.
As used in this chapter:
(1)"Incarcerated individual" means an individual who is confined in a prison, jail, or other correctional facility.
(2)"Local government" means a political subdivision of the state, including:
(a)a county, city, town, school district, special district, or special service district;
(b)an agency or office of a political subdivision of the state; or
(c)an official or employee of:
(i)a political subdivision of the state; or
(ii)an entity described in Subsection (2)(a) or
(b).
