§ 2250. Construction and repair of buildings and public improvements

The Department of Agriculture is authorized to erect, alter, and repair such buildings and other public improvements as may be necessary to carry out its authorized work: Provided, That no building or improvement shall be erected or altered under this authority unless provision is made therefor in the applicable appropriation and the cost thereof is not in excess of limitations prescribed therein.

- Sec. 753For an additional amount for “National Institute of Food and Agriculture—Research and Education Activities”, $6,000,000, to be available until expended, for relocation expenses and for the alteration and repair of leased buildings and improvements pursuant to 7 U.S.C. 2250: * Provided*, That not later than 60 days after enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Agriculture shall submit a report to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate detailing the planned uses of this funding.
- Sec. 163Section 4144(d) of the Motor Carrier Safety Reauthorization Act of 2005 (49 U.S.C. 31100 note) shall be applied by substituting the date specified in section 106(3) of this Act for “September 30, 2025”.
- Sec. 503None of the funds made available by this Act may be used in contravention of Executive Order No. 12898 of February 11, 1994 (Federal Actions to Address Environmental Justice in Minority Populations and Low-Income Populations).
