“Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act [ July 15, 2016 ], the Comptroller General of the United States shall— assess the progress made by the TSA and the effect on aviation security of implementing the requirements under sections 3402 through 3409 of this subtitle; and report to the appropriate congressional committees on the results of the assessment under paragraph (1), including any recommendations.
