Definitions Applied .— In this subtitle, the terms ‘unmanned aircraft’, ‘unmanned aircraft system’, and ‘small unmanned aircraft’ have the meanings given those terms in section 331 of the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 [ Pub. L. 112–95 ] ( 49 U.S.C. 40101 note [now 49 U.S.C. 44802 note]), as amended by this Act. FAA Modernization and Reform Act .— [Amended section 331 of Pub. L. 112–95 , set out in a note below.]
