§ 1041. DEFINITIONS.

“In this subtitle: Advanced air mobility .— The term ‘advanced air mobility’ means a transportation system that is comprised of urban air mobility and regional air mobility using manned or unmanned aircraft. Interagency working group .— The term ‘interagency working group’ means the advanced air mobility and unmanned aircraft systems interagency working group of the National Science and Technology Council established under section 1042. Labor organization .— The term ‘labor organization’ has the meaning given the term in section 2(5) of the National Labor Relations Act ( 29 U.S.C. 152(5) ), except that such term shall also include— any organization composed of labor organizations, such as a labor union federation or a State or municipal labor body; and any organization which would be included in the definition for such term under such section 2(5) but for the fact that the organization represents— individuals employed by the United States, any wholly owned Government corporation, any Federal Reserve Bank, or any State or political subdivision thereof; individuals employed by persons subject to the Railway Labor Act ( 45 U.S.C. 151 et seq.); or individuals employed as agricultural laborers.
National laboratory .— The term ‘National Laboratory’ has the meaning given such term in section 2 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 ( 42 U.S.C. 15801 ). Technical standard .— The term ‘technical standard’ has the meaning given such term in section 12(d)(5) of the National Technology Transfer and Advancement Act of 1995 [ Pub. L. 104–113 ] ( 15 U.S.C. 272 note). Unmanned aircraft system .— The term ‘unmanned aircraft system’ has the meaning given such term in section 44801 of title 49 , United States Code.
