“In this chapter [chapter 3 (§§ 131–134) of title I of div. U of Pub. L. 117–328 , enacting this note]: Appropriate congressional committees .— The term ‘appropriate congressional committees’ means— the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. Covered veteran .— The term ‘covered veteran’ means a covered veteran under section 1703(b) of title 38 , United States Code.
Pilot program .— The term ‘pilot program’ means the pilot program required under section 132(a). Veterans community care program .— The term ‘Veterans Community Care Program’ means the program to furnish hospital care, medical services, and extended care services to covered veterans under section 1703 of title 38 , United States Code.
